Assignment and Examination Guidelines

  • All students are required to submit one assignment for each course.
  • The last dates for submitting assignments will be December 15th for the ODD semester and April 25th for the EVEN semester, respectively.
  • Programme coordinators are responsible for evaluating the assignments and submitting the internal marks statements for Science students and candidates admitted directly to the Directorate, along with the original assignments.
  • Model practical examinations will be conducted to assess and award internal marks for practical courses.
  • Students must submit their assignments to the Learner Support Centres (LSCs). The assignments will be assessed by subject experts, and the internal marks will be forwarded to the Directorate of Distance Education by the Learner Support Centres.
  • Term-end examination results will be withheld for candidates who fail to submit the required assignments.
  • The examinations will commence from May 5th for the EVEN semester and December 26th for the ODD semester.
  • For both ODD and EVEN semesters, the examination results will be announced within two months.
